LGPD (General Data Protection Law)

 

The General Data Protection Law (LGPD) has been in force since August 2020 and EMTHOS, in order to ensure improved protection of personal data entrusted to it, has been constantly working and modernizing its procedures and the systems it uses, to achieve full compliance with legislation.

Privacy notice

EMTHOS recognizes the importance of protecting your personal information and is committed to processing it responsibly and in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Types of personal information we collect

When we mention the collection, use, storage, sharing and disposal of “Personal Information”, we are talking about data that refers to an identified or identifiable natural person. The information processed may include first name, last name, mailing address, email address, payment information, IP address and other online contact information, telephone number, official identification document numbers, information of a sensitive nature, as described by the LGPD.
 

This data is collected through voluntary provision, in physical or online forms, by conducting surveys, on public websites, from third parties that comply with this privacy notice.

We ensure that this data will not be shared with third parties without a legal provision or without the holder granting free and spontaneous permission for this, except in the cases provided for in the LGPD.

EMTHOS will only use your data to:

  • Comply with legal obligations;

  • Comply with contractual obligations with our customers and suppliers, in accordance with the cases provided for in the LGPD;

  • As required by Law or to respond to legal process;

  • In other cases with your express consent;

Where we store

 

EMTHOS has a data storage service in the cloud, with the aim of this procedure to ensure that the company can have an efficient operation, with better performance and to create redundancy and data protection, always in compliance with the LGDP and applicable legislation, wherever data is being collected, stored or processed.

 

How to access your personal information

Data holders can contact our data protection officer Marcelo Brito, via email lgpdconsulta@emthos.com to exercise your personal data protection rights in accordance with the LGPD, including requesting corrections, deletion, revocation of total or partial previous consents and other rights guaranteed by legislation.
